Asian-Spotted Lady Beetles Invade Light-Colored Homes

They note that light-colored homes attract these beetles whose ancestral history was sheltering in light-colored cliffs. Here they become such a nuisance in our homes, and are noted to cause allergic reactions in more and more people, according to WebMD.com. Is the answer to keeping these pests away without insecticide...a trend towards darker house colors?
